Taeyang's new MV came out today! To be honest, it feels like YG is making all of the artists follow a G-Dragon type style... Like CL's solo and now Taeyang's solo is so different from his last solo debut. I don't know if he went for a more hip-hop style because he wanted to or the company decided he would...
However, I do think this song is better than a lot of the ones on his last album! His singing voice is very soft and "dry" sounding to me, so I think when he raps it provides a nice contrast and keeps the song from getting boring. I'm interested in what the rest of the album is like...
Here's the MV:
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like GD is always in Taeyang's solo stuff... Like, is Taeyang that unpopular that they need to throw GD in there to boost it?
Thank you for your comment^^ Yeah, strange men are always scary... (-.-;;)
ReplyDeleteFirst I have to say that I haven't been to Tokyo yet so actually I cannot judge about it but it's just my feeling that I am not very interested in Tokyo^^;
About Nagoya, I really love Nagoya. The people are different in general, also more serious like the people in Osaka but it depends on each person of course. I also met open and great people here^^ For living Nagoya is quite awesome. The rents are in general quite cheap and although Nagoya is Japan's 4th biggest city, the space is small, so you can reach everything very fast.
As I said before, I don't know that about Tokyo but what I heard from other people is, that you can actually have everything that you get in Tokyo also in other cities like Nagoya or Osaka, but cheaper. XD
I mean, we have big shopping malls too, the same brand stores, the same restaurants, but it's cheaper and it may not have the "Tokyo"-Button on it :DD
Furthermore what I love about nagoya is, that you can reach every other city so fast. For example, it only takes me 2 hours by train to Kyoto, Nara or Osaka, of course a bit longer to Tokyo but not that long, there are many interesting places and cities around Nagoya^^ I like the athmosphere I had in Osaka more than in Nagoya.
But for living I think Nagoya is best, at least for me at the moment. I don't know much about rents in Osaka or living conditions there as I've only been there for only 5 days^^ I love Osaka and wanna live there but Nagoya is also great^^ And maybe I will start loving Tokyo after I've gone there :)
Thank you so much for your through reply!
DeleteHm... Well, if shopping is the same then maybe you should focus more on certain attractions? I know they have Tokyo Disney & Disney sea, the Ghibli museum, the zoo, the large fish market and certain temples there. I did not go to Disney, so I don't know what it is like, but I really recommend you try going to the Ghibli museum. It is quite small, but there are quite a few interesting things to look at! I also went to Korea Town near Shinjuku. It was less exciting than I thought. It mostly just has K-Pop and Korean cosmetics and skincare. The face masks there are very cheap!
I can look through some of the guides I got while there and let you know if I see anything interesting!
I see. I think I might like Nagoya. I think the atmosphere in Tokyo might be similar to Nagoya. I read that the people in Tokyo are much colder than in Osaka, but I felt that quite a few people in Tokyo were very kind and friendly to me. For instance in some shops they would ask where we were from etc... When I went, I knew almost no Japanese. One girl in Shinjuku tried very hard to use the English she knew to help me and was very patient. In Shibuya, one girl spoke no English, but I could understand almost everything because we gestured a lot! xD However, others got intimidated and kind of ran away when they learned I could not speak English... As you said, it depends on the person.
I was not in Osaka long and did not get a chance to talk much with people, but I never got approached. I think it might be because sometimes people assumed I was Japanese!
Even though the cities are very exciting, I think I would like to go to Hiroshima and Okinawa to see different things. I think Okinawa especially has its own unique food and culture?
Sorry for haven't seen your reply^^
DeleteI definitel want to go to the Ghibli Museum!! Aw I almost forgot about it, thanks so much for the reminder^^
As to your question: My dorm mates are really nice people in general but somehow I rarely do something with them. The main problem is that they all have iphones/smartphones and use a chatting-program calles LINE which is similar to whats app I think? so they always make arrangements or things up there. I don't have a smartphone so it often happenes that the others make some funny thing together and I don't know about it because I don't have LINE....
Also I don't have so much close friends here. Like normal when you live together with 18 people, there are ppl who are nice and some who are a bit..well~ XD you know what I mean. And also I like things like just strolling thorugh a city, having some coffee somewhere without a certain target. And the others often want to do something special. But I sometimes do things with dorm mates too if we find some time together^^
And I want to go to Hiroshima too^^ And Nara is also a place I want to go as well as Kobe^^ Well, I still have 5 months to do.. (argh that's not so much time as it seems ;_;)
Okinawa must be very special I think.. to be honest I have not so much interest in Okinawa but I hear it's almost like an 'own country', very different from Japan, but that's just what I heard^^
