Inside the tower there are several restaurants you can visit with all kinds of food. They have deserts, traditional Japanese food, sushi, Italian, and even Indian food inside! There are also shops inside where you can buy omiyage (souvenirs) and other things.
You can pay to go to the top of the tower to get a nice view of the city, but we didn't want to pay... I think it costs about $30, so it's quite expensive in my opinion.
